Program Overview:
DRUMS FOUNDATION
At Sounds N Shapes, our drum classes are designed to help students develop strong rhythmic foundations while building confidence and coordination in a fun, supportive learning environment. Lessons are suitable for children, teens, and adults, with personalised guidance at every stage.
Introduce your child to drumming with a 30-minute trial lesson at Sounds N Shapes. This energetic and engaging session is designed to build strong rhythmic foundations while developing coordination, confidence, and a love for music.
During the trial lesson, students will:
Learn correct drum posture and stick technique
Explore basic rhythms and timing exercises
Play simple beats and patterns
Experience our structured lesson format and teaching approach
Build confidence while developing coordination and musical focus
Trial Fee: $30
Duration: 30 minutes (one-to-one lesson)
Minimum Age: 7 years old
Continue Learning Drums
Students who wish to continue after the trial may enrol in our structured 10-week drums program, designed to strengthen rhythm, technique, and overall musicianship.
